LANDSCAPE BORDERS & RETAINING WALLS
Add dual opportunity for design flair and a functional hardscape. Retaining Walls are meant to do just that; retain something at a higher elevation from falling to the lower. Retaining structures can range from a small 6" height to 4'. Anything over 4' will require additional structural work. While a decorative visual to any landscape, these systems are also used to channel water runoff and mitigate the potential for flooding. Smaller borders are used to highlight and outline trees, gardens, and landscape beds. There are a variety of materials that can be used including rock, brick, and concrete.
